About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The Budget Analyst, GS-0560-12 is located in Vaihingen, Stuttgart region on Patch Barracks performing various budget functions involving the formulation, justification, and execution of budgets for organizations, programs, or projects.
What You'll Do
- →Analyze headquarters program and budgetary guidance.
- →Identify requirements short-falls and trade-offs and prepare appropriate supporting documentation.
- →Allocate funds to individual activities/functional areas based on an analysis of activity budget estimates, historical expenditures, projected workload, and approved funding.
- →Provide local budget policy and procedures, budget formulation assumptions, and format and schedule service organizations for budget submissions.
- →Receive approved fund targets for assigned accounts.
- →Review, analyze, edit, and consolidate budget submissions.
- →Formulate and justify a segment of the command budget, and a major segment of the organization budget or a total budget for one or more funds.
