What You'll Do
- →Develops advice and guidance to budget and senior personnel on the preparation of budget estimates, and prepares detailed analyses and critiques of estimates provided.
- →Monitors the execution of field office and/or Agency operating budgets to assure that funds are properly allocated and are being obligated and spent in a timely and effective manner.
- →Exercises budget controls through review and approval of the obligation and expenditure of funds for management and administrative purposes.
- →Develops, or assists in the development of, presentations outlining findings, conclusions and recommendations.
- →Recommends adjustments, such as redistribution of funds within budget accounts, in response to changes in programs, staffing levels, and/or funds available.
Requirements
- ✓Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
