About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Incumbent will perform a full range of budgetary duties associated with the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of assigned programs.
What You'll Do
- →Communicate budgetary information effectively to present, defend, and provide guidance on financial matters.
- →Resolve budget discrepancies by identifying issues, implementing corrective actions, and coordinating with financial staff.
- →Develop comprehensive budgets for assigned programs by reviewing and interpreting guidance from higher-level entities.
- →Analyze financial data to identify trends, assess funding requirements, and support budget formulation.
- →Prepare budget schedules and justifications to support and defend budget requests to senior leaders and higher authorities.
- →Interpret and apply financial regulations and policies to ensure compliance in all budgeting activities.
- →Advise leadership on funding adjustments and reprogramming actions to maintain financial alignment with the Command's mission.
