About the Role
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a budget analyst in the Intelligence Branch of the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Comptroller's Special Programs Division. Responsible for oversight and management of all USSOCOM Intelligence funding that crosses three appropriations (Operations and Maintenance; Research, Development, Testing and Evaluation; and Procurement).
What You'll Do
- →Performs and monitors budget execution over the command's Intelligence funding which includes the National Intelligence Programs and the Military Intelligence Programs.
- →Plans and performs Intelligence budget formulation and justification.
- →Performs budget impact analyses of programmatic adjustments involving the Intelligence portion of the future budget years in the FYDP (Future Years Defense Program).
- →Provides advice, assistance, and guidance on budget policy impacting Intelligence Programs.
- →Devises and recommends the adoption of procedures to implement appropriately issued budgetary processes, policies, and regulations.
- →Uses automated budgetary system(s) and computer-generated products in accomplishing budgetary assignments.
