This position is located in Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Internal Control Planning Branch (ICPB ),Division of Planning and Budget, (DPB). The supervisor is Fred Miller. This position is subject to Confidential Financial Disclosure reporting requirements. This position is subject to security ownership restriction reporting requirements.
What You'll Do
- →The successful candidate will perform the full range of Branch Chief duties.
- →Such duties include but are not limited to: Manages, supervises, and coordinates the Branch's execution of diverse activities.
- →Ensures subordinates understand objectives, assignments, and priorities derived from the strategic and performance plans.
- →Ensures plans and schedules are developed and maintained and result in the completion of assigned tasks.
- →Ensures appropriate actions are taken in response to activities within the Branch's scope of responsibility.
- →Manages, supervises, and coordinates the Branch's execution of diverse activities.
- →Ensures subordinates understand objectives, assignments, and priorities derived from the strategic and performance plans.
- →Ensures plans and schedules are developed and maintained and result in the completion of assigned tasks.
- →Ensures appropriate actions are taken in response to activities within the Branch's scope of responsibility.
- →Allocates resources within the Branch based on workload and priorities.
- →Ensures priorities are established using the relative importance of each activity to operational excellence.
- →Uses branch resources to complete tasks within the Branch's scope of responsibility.
- →Assesses the strengths and weaknesses of assigned staff in determining appropriate utilization of resources for completing assigned work.
- →Reallocates resources within the Branch as necessary to achieve established outcome goals.
