This position is located within Commander, Mid-Atlantic Region, Fleet and Family Readiness Program. The purpose of this position is to assist the higher grade mechanics in maintaining and repairing all bowling and facility electrical, mechanical and computerized equipment.
What You'll Do
- →This position has been identified as an entry-level developmental position for the purpose of training the incumbent to perform more complex and responsible duties.
- →Installs, repairs, maintains, adjusts, overhauls and regularly inspects all bowling facility electrical, mechanical and computerized equipment which includes, but is not limited to: automatic pinsetters, automatic ball returns, speed cradle stops, telescore units, automatic ball cleaners, lane maintenance machines, hole borers, and etc.
- →Establishes a regular preventive maintenance schedule according to the suggested manufacturer's recommendations, adjusting as necessary.
- →Diagnoses malfunctional equipment referring to manufacturer's diagrams and specifications, schematics, and wiring diagrams using test equipment such as continuity testers, voltmeters, and feeler gauges.
- →Inspects bowling lanes and approaches daily.
- →Oversees the work of one or more lower graded workers engaged in minor repair, cleaning or lubricating equipment, keeping them informed of any operation and maintenance changes.
- →Maintains required records and reports.
- →Conducts daily fire and safety inspections
