You will serve as a BOILER PLANT EQUIPMENT MECHANIC SUPERVISOR I in the PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION of MARINE CORPS BASE.
What You'll Do
- →You will plan both daily and long term, organizing, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance and repair functions.
- →You will conduct on the job training to prepare plant operating personnel for changing work conditions, to operate new equipment, and to be aware of Standard Operating Procedures.
- →You will assist the General Foreman in selection of new employees; make recommendations for reassignments, promotions, and demotions; and correct employee grievances when necessary.
- →You will plan and organize work and manage positions to ensure maximum productivity for money spent.
- →You will promote special programs such as elimination of waste, fraud and abuse.
