What You'll Do
- →You will advise the Commanding Officer in establishing and managing the base aviation safety program.
- →You will maintain aviation safety records and mishap statistics.
- →You will review, interpret, and disseminate policies and directives relative to aviation safety.
- →You will review procedures in use or proposed for the operation, maintenance, and testing of aircraft to insure aviation safety standards are met.
- →You will represent the Command in contacts, meetings, and conferences relative to aviation safety matters in order to promote safety, resolve problems, and exchange information.
- →You will manage relations with local authorities, the public, and the press.
