About the Role
About the Position: This position is located within David Grant Medical Center, 60th Medical Group, Travis Air Force Base. This is an open continuous announcement. Multiple vacancies exist and may be filled from this announcement at any of the locations listed. We accept applications on an ongoing basis; qualified applicants will be considered as vacancies become available. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Provide consultative assistance to other military medical treatment facilities in the area as needed on diagnostic site of lesion testing and rehabilitative audiology.
- →Diagnose degrees of communication disorders created by hearing loss and other potentially complicating factors.
- →Manage the Hearing Program and the Hearing Readiness Support for the organization.
- →Perform patient assessments and evaluations in accordance with clinic standard operating procedures Counsels’ patients or parents for pediatric patient to provide instruction in the use of hearing aids.
- →Use appropriate regulatory guidance to determine eligibility for care as it relates to active duty, retired service members and their families.
