About the Position: This position is with the Department of Clinical Investigation located at Tripler Army Medical Center on the Island of Oahu.
What You'll Do
- →Observe animal appearance and activity for normal condition and behavior, recognizing obvious signs of illness, injury, or discontent.
- →Perform routine and prescribed animal feeding, watering, housing, psychological and environmental enrichment, and other species-specific husbandry.
- →Perform and/or assist with prescribed animal medical treatments.
- →Responsible for maintaining an optimal animal husbandry environment, to include proper caging and accessory, facility, and equipment sanitization and organization.
- →Maintain animal facility grounds, and coordinate repair and maintenance of facilities and duty-related equipment.
