THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a AIRMAN AND FAMILY READINESS SPECIALIST (TITLE 5), Position Description Number NGT5302P02 and is part of the TN 164th AW, Air National Guard. This vacancy is not eligible for membership to a labor organization.
What You'll Do
- →Develop plans for an efficient resource management program and maximum support of service delivery to include resource center (discovery center), equipment, funding, tracking, and computerized systems - AFFIRST, etc.
- →Identify service member and family issues that require exploration, development, and resolutions, and determines appropriate methods and resources.
- →Develop and prepare a variety of correspondence and other documentation i.e. formal letters, position papers, reports, briefings, charts, bullet background papers, etc.
- →Plan and schedule work in a manner that promotes a smooth flow and even distribution.
- →Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- ✓Education Requirements: None Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience: To determine applicability, see completion of graduate level education in the minimum qualifications' requirements above.
- ✓In addition, completion of courses such as the Officer Advanced Course, Squadron Officer School, Command and Staff College, Air and Army War College, National Security Management Course and others of comparable level will be credited at the rate of 1 month of education for 2 months of specialized experience.
- ✓You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your educational claims.
- ✓To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
