What You'll Do
- →Advise ANG Wing leadership on development & implementation of family readiness & support programs.
- →Provide family readiness assistance & support to Geographically Separated Units (GSUs).
- →Analyze current family support for Wing families; identify gaps in services & develop programs to close those gaps.
- →Monitor effectiveness of implemented programs & adjust as needed to improve outcomes.
- →Conduct projects & studies using analytical techniques to identify family readiness & well-being needs & concerns.
- →Continuously analyze effectiveness & efficiency of quality-of-life products & services using USAF & National Guard program goals & methodologies.
- →Develop plans for efficient resource management (resource center/discovery center, equipment, funding, tracking, & systems such as AFFIRST).
- →Forecast long-term family readiness & support resource needs based on Wing-level trends & directives.
- →Analyze Wing/GSU family readiness & support budgets & recommend solutions for existing or projected shortages.
- →Provide advice & assistance to support family needs during full or partial unit mobilizations, call-ups, & support missions.
- →Ensure full family readiness services during federal/state mobilizations & AEF deployments.
- →Assess & identify Wing/GSU family issues, trends, needs, program priorities, & effectiveness using appropriate research methods.
- →Evaluate ongoing Wing/GSU services to resolve overlap, duplication, or conflict & ensure goals & objectives are met.
- →Identify service member & family issues needing exploration & resolution; determine appropriate methods & resources.
Requirements
- ✓Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Degree Required to qualify with Education Only (No Specialized Experience): Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims.
- ✓To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
- ✓If you are selected for a vacancy that requires a specific degree and/or coursework you will be required to provide official transcripts prior to appointment.
- ✓The total percentages must equal at least 100 percent to qualify an applicant for that grade level.
