About the Role
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a AIRCRAFT MECHANIC, Position Description Number D1063000 and is part of the PA Army Aviation Support Facility 2, National Guard. 1 or more Position(s) may be hired against this Announcement.
What You'll Do
- →As an AIRCRAFT MECHANIC, WG-8852-12, you will manage, monitor or perform overall maintenance, servicing, inspections and documentation for one or more highly technical, high performance military aircraft.
- →Request maintenance services exceeding AASF capabilities or time constraints.
- →Oversee ground movement of aircraft.
- →Incumbent launches, recovers, parks and services aircraft.
- →Ensure Unit Level Logistics-Aviation (ULLS-A) and other aircraft documentation accurately reflects status and airworthiness of assigned aircraft.
- →Clear Red X status symbols on aircraft forms for work performed by others.
- →Plan, develop and conduct proficiency training during the technician work week to a multi-faceted workforce comprised of Full Time Support (FTS) and supported unit personnel.
- →Prepare for and participate in various types of readiness evaluations, inspections, mobilization and support exercises.
- →Comply with safety, fire, security, environmental, and housekeeping regulations.
- →Perform other duties as assigned.
