The primary purpose of this position is to The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a crew chief and technical authority, having custody of an assigned aircraft, with primary responsibility for performing, coordinating, and/or overseeing the maintenance and periodic inspections to the assigned aircraft.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as crew chief of assigned aircraft, responsible for performing, coordinating, and/or overseeingmaintenance on the aircraft.
- →Performs aircraft inspections including preflight, postflight, phase, and other scheduled and unscheduledinspections.
- →Diagnoses and identifies probable locations of malfunctions from the cockpit during engine run-up.
- →Initiates requests for unscheduled tools, equipment, and materials during preparation for flight.
- →Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains asafe and clean work area.
