This position, located at the Oklahoma City VA HCS, Facilities Management service is responsible for the proper installation, maintenance, repair and necessary modification of refrigeration, air conditioning and heating equipment ranging from multi-ton to fractional horsepower units and their related systems.
What You'll Do
- →Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm Position Description Title/PD#: Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic/PD12827A Physical Requirements: Walking, standing, lifting (70 pounds or more), crawling, pulling, and pushing, inside and outside building are required.
Requirements
- ✓Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
- ✓Suitable for Federal employment, determined by a background investigation Selective Services Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959 Selected applicants will be required to complete an online onboarding process.
