This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Vet preference and military spousal preference does not apply. About the Position: Serves as an Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic (MVO) West Point Directorate of Public Works.
What You'll Do
- →Install, repair, and maintain large, complex, HVAC systems having a great variety of complicated components, parts, and auxiliary equipment.
- →Incumbent is responsible for maintaining installed equipment in accordance with the maintenance schedules for each piece of machinery.
- →Operate a motor vehicle (less than 1 l/2 tons) to transport self, co-workers, and supplies; and preventative maintenance.
