What You'll Do
- →Repairs and maintains a variety of large commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
- →Dismantles, repairs, and reassembles testing units such as pumps, impellers, compressors, chillers, receivers, condensers, and evaporators.
- →Calibrates and repairs large pneumatic control systems and repairs steam control systems.
- →Troubleshoots complex problems and installs and make extensive repairs on large industrial and commercial and air conditioning systems.
- →Tests system operation and detects component malfunctions.
- →Designs layouts with complex special requirements for areas with sensitive equipment.
Requirements
- ✓Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
