This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic DIB & MRTFB to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Red River Army Depot (RRAD) is located in northeast Texas, 19 miles west of Texarkana and approximately 170 miles northeast of Dallas. What You'll Do
- →Troubleshoot complex refrigeration, dehumidification, and air conditioning systems.
- →Overhaul critical mechanical mechanisms including compressors, pumps, evaporators, and condensers to restore operational integrity.
- →Calibrate modulating thermostatic, pneumatic, and electronic control valves to eliminate temperature fluctuations during system cycling.
- →Assemble refrigerant lines and copper fittings utilizing professional welding, brazing, soldering, and flaring techniques.
- →Detect electrical faults in motors, wiring, and circuits starting from the primary electrical disconnect throughout the system.
