The primary purpose of this position is to install and repair a variety of domestic and commercial refrigeration and air conditioning units and systems such as walk-in and reach-in coolers, refrigerators, ice cream cabinets, deep freezers, evaporative coolers, attic and evaporative fans, and other comparable equipment.
What You'll Do
- →The employee repairs and maintains a variety of domestic and commercial refrigeration and air conditioning units and systems used to condition areas and cool equipment.
- →Selects tools, decides on methods and techniques to use, and installs a variety of parts including major portions of assigned systems and equipment, applying and interpreting information in blueprints, charts, and sketches.
- →Recognizes the cause of faulty equipment.
- →Utilizes established safety practices, rules, regulations, and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
