An Agricultural Marketing Specialist Auditor for the Quality Assessment Division, you will primarily be responsible for conducting quality management system audits to verify compliance with a variety of domestic and international management system programs. You will also conduct audits as a part of the Livestock, Poultry Program's internal quality management system.
What You'll Do
- →The duties described are for the full-performance level.
- →At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity.
- →The duties may include, but are not limited to: Arranges, conducts and manage assessments of complex quality management systems as a lead auditor, with a very low level of guidance or supervision.
- →Plans, conducts, and reports the results of internal quality management system audits according to established procedures.
- →Plans, conducts, manages and reports the results of independent, third-party quality management system audits of meat, livestock, poultry, and associated industry-support companies.
- →Provides technical development support for the Livestock, Poultry, and Seed Program’s internal quality management systems and for members of the agricultural industry within their area of responsibility.
- →Conducts formal and informal training on the quality system operation and assessment procedures for Livestock, Poultry, and Seed Program personnel and members of industry.
- →Maintains current knowledge of relevant quality system standards, product standards and specifications, and applicable regulatory requirements.
