About the Role
About the Position: This position is located within the Obstetrics/Gynecology Department at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in Fort Campbell, Tennessee This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Provides comprehensive care to women across the life span from menarche to menopause, with an emphasis on reproductive, gynecologic, obstetric and well women health.
- →Conducts clinical assessment and physical examinations to evaluate and/or diagnose gynecological and obstetrical health.
- →Formulates evidence-based care plans and delivers clinical treatments, including family planning counseling and infertility assessments.
- →Independently performs advanced gynecological procedures, including specialized biopsies, and assists physician with procedures as needed.
- →Manages administrative tracking, patient follow-up, and registry referrals for individuals diagnosed with abnormal cellular changes or gynecological cancers.
- →Provides professional consultation about gynecological conditions and treatment to health care team members, providers, and clinical staff.
- →Serves as a subject matter expert in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) for the medical facility.
