About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Naval Health Clinic New England, Newport, Rhode Island. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Administers health care services in an outpatient setting in compliance with state and federal regulations and meets professional standards, including BUMED policies, and the requirements of designated regulatory agencies.
- →Evaluates patients with acute/minor and chronic illnesses, providing compassionate, competent care and follow-up.
- →Makes appropriate diagnosis based on history, physical exams, and appropriate laboratory and ancillary studies, as indicated.
- →Prescribes approved medications and other therapeutic agents.
- →Assesses individuals and develops a care plan based on physical and psycho-social status and on the needs of the patient.
- →Orders appropriate ancillary services, such as radiographs, electrocardiograms (EKGs),and other procedures.
