About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Occupational Health Clinic #4 at Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan Repayment may be authorized. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as direct primary clinician/provider in the capacity of a credentialed Nurse Practitioner for the Occupational Health and Army Public Health Sections.
- →Conducts a comprehensive program of occupational medical surveillance examinations based on the actual and potential health hazards Provides medical care and health assessments for civilian and military personnel and uses professional judgment to make recommendations for proper placement consistent with job requirements.
- →Treats acute minor work related illnesses and diseases within the scope of individual credentialed capabilities.
- →Makes proper recommendations for corrective actions within the worksite and coordinates these actions with IH, Safety, Environmental Health, Public Works, etc., when appropriate.
- →Performs job related health assessments and physical examinations/evaluations appropriate to the occupational physical requirements and potential exposures.
