About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at General Leonard Wood Community Hospital Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
What You'll Do
- →Conduct and direct collaborative care assessment, diagnosis and management of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- →Order and interpret related laboratory and diagnostic tests; prescribe medications; and initiate emergency care.
- →Provide counseling to patients and their families in prevention of illness, maintenance of health, and attainment of physical, mental, and social well-being.
- →Evaluate care delivery models and strategies, using concepts related to community, environmental/occupational health, and cultural and socioeconomic dimensions of health.
- →Coordinate and conduct in-service education programs for health care professionals and serves as an advisor/member of assigned committees.
