About the Role
About the Position: This position is located Brooke Army Medical Center in Fort Sam Houston, Texas. This is an open continuous announcement. Multiple vacancies exist and may be filled from this announcement at any of the locations listed. We accept applications on an ongoing basis; qualified applicants will be considered as vacancies become available. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
What You'll Do
- →Provide the full range of anesthesia services, Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC), General Anesthesia and Regional Anesthesia for surgical operations, medical procedures, and obstetric services.
- →Determine the optimal type and method of anesthesia care to administer for a broad range of surgical procedures at the MTF.
- →Collaborate with the anesthesia, surgical and multidisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality, holistic, evidence-based care.
- →Participate in departmental Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement (QA/QI) initiatives.
- →Provide oversight and instruction to other CRNAs, students, and ancillary workers in the field of anesthesia, in both clinical and administrative areas.
