About the Role
About the Position: Serve as an Advanced Practice Nurse with the Department of Defense at Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Liberty, NC. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Perform rapid assessment, triage, and stabilization of emergency patients.
- →Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and traumatic injuries.
- →Order and interpret laboratory test, imaging, and other diagnostic studies.
- →Coordinate emergency patient care with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
- →Determine patient disposition, including admission, transfer, discharge, or specialty referral.
- →Respond to life-threatening emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions.
- →Document patient assessments, treatments, and medical decisions in the electronic health record.
