About the Role
About the Position: Gastroenterology clinic at ATAMMC, in Fort Belvoir, VA, hours 0700-1530;providing direct patient care to Active Duty beneficiaries, retirees and adult family members. Duties range from evaluating colon cancer screenings to the management of acute and chronic illnesses in gastroenterology. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Manage moderately complex acute and chronic illnesses related to Gastroenterology.
- →Take health and medical history from patients and records findings for the record.
- →Discriminate between normal and abnormal findings to recognize early stages of serious physical, emotional, or mental problems.
- →Diagnose disease, illness, disorder, or injury, instituting treatment of paitents.
- →Coordinate health care, as appropriate.
