About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Naval Hospital at Camp Pendleton 52 Area Branch Health Clinic. A recruitment incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Provide primary care services to patients ranging in ages from infant through geriatric in a primary health care clinic of a military medical treatment facility.
- →Examine patient and performs initial patient work-up and assessment of patient's care and treatment.
- →Work independently and collaboratively with physicians in patient management, evaluation, and revision of therapeutic plans.
- →Diagnose disease, illness, disorder or injury, and institute treatment of patients.
- →Write prescriptions, order the administration of medications, dispense medications, and prescribe controlled substance in accordance with scope of practice for Nurse Practitioners.
