What You'll Do
- →Total Rewards of a Allied Health Professional The VISN20 Float Pool: The VISN20 Float Pool provides Community Care, PACT and extended PACT, Specialty, Tele-Eye, Mental Health, Cerner/EHRM, and gap coverage services to VISN20 facilities, CBOC's, Outreach Centers, and Contract Clinics throughout the United States.
- →Hub sites are located at facilities and are staffed with providers and clerical staff/schedulers.
- →Spoke sites are located at the patient site and are staffed with RNs, LPNs, Health Techs, and clerical staff/schedulers.
- →The incumbents is responsible for a range of duties that typify the full-performance level of the position and is trained and competent to assist all scheduling staff.
- →The incumbent has the ability to cover all internal and Community Care clinics during staffing shortages or backlogs to ensure the overall function of scheduling of patient care services.
- →The position involves technical work concerned with processing consults from the Medical and Nursing staff, which includes responsibility for interpreting and verifying provider orders in accordance with VHA National Scheduling Directive guidelines.
- →Float pool team also assists with HIMs in completing community care consults.
- →Dispositions and schedules Return to Clinic(RTC) orders as per the directive.
- →Assists in multiple Cerner functions.
- →This team is a tiger team that is high functioning in a fast paced environment that is multifaceted and ever changing.
- →Pay: Competitive salary and regular salary increases.
- →When setting pay, a higher step rate of the appropriate grade may be determined after consideration of higher or unique qualifications or special needs of the VA (Above Minimum Rate of the Grade).
- →Paid Time Off: 37-50 days of annual paid time offer per year (13-26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year).
- →Selected applicants may qualify for credit toward annual leave accrual, based on prior [work experience] or military service experience.
Requirements
