You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the SPECIAL PROGRAMS BRANCH in the SECURITY DIVISION, CORPORATE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV NEWPORT RI. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-04 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-11 and GS-12. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.
What You'll Do
- →You will implement the Special Access Security program for all special security projects under his/her cognizance.
- →You will provide security oversight and ensure compliance with all applicable DoD, Navy, and NUWC governing policies and directives, Program Security Guides, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- →You will work with stakeholders, (both internally and externally), to ensure new programs and projects coming to the Command have the adequate support, levels of effort and funding to support the project.
- →You will lead the special access program security staff in ensuring indoctrinated personnel adhere to all policies and procedures governing the storage, receipt, transmission, inventory, and destruction of classified material.
