You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV NEWPORT RI. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-4 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-11 and GS-12.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as direct support to the department leadership and is tasked with coordinating, tracking and overseeing a variety of requirements needed for the operation of the department.
- →You will provide oversight and guidance in managing administrative resources and ensuring effective and efficient administrative support services are provided to Division or Department leadership, Deputy, and Senior Leadership Team.
- →You will prepare/compile Department-level organizational, execution and financial briefs, reports, spreadsheets, white papers, etc. .
- →You will analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of department administrative functions and provide recommendations for process improvement and efficiencies.
- →You will require critical and independent judgment and an extended, intimate grasp of a specialized and complex administrative/technical areas.
- →You will establish and maintain effective working relationships with department management and administrative personnel.
Requirements
- ✓In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
