You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE WEAPONS AND ENERGY SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14.
What You'll Do
- →You will perform a full range of management responsibilities for administrative support or operational organization.
- →You will direct the work of lower-level specialists who, on a task team basis, may be involved in performing segments of the overall project task under the specialist's cognizance.
- →You will work projects or assignments are characterized by projects/assignments of such scope and complexity as to have impact across the activity or higher organizational levels.
- →You will convey written information in a clear, concise, organized, and convincing manner for the intended audience.
- →You will provide expertise to others within the group and throughout the activity on unique and controversial problems.
- →You will require ability to participate with project managers in project planning meetings in order to analyze requirements and develop overall procurement strategies and approaches.
- →You will provide expert advice to team members and multiple customers that directly contributes to the success of the team and program.
- →You will be responsible for the leadership, tasking, training and oversight of several government, and contractor employees within the Submarine Battery ISEA’s ILS and acquisition team.

- →You will interface with personnel across the Power and Energy Division, NAVSEA, Program offices, and contracting partners as required.
