You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Corporate Operations Department (10, Security Division (105), Security Policy & Programs (1051) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The NT-05 pay band is equivalent to the GS-13/14. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $138,370).
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as Information Security (INFOSEC) Program Manager to oversee and coordinate the organization's information security program.
- →You will oversee all levels of classified information and Controlled Unclassified Information.
- →You will be responsible for ensuring rules and regulations for marking, classifying, declassifying, storage, transportation, transmission of classified material are followed, understood, and known throughout the command.
- →You will assist with development and implementation of security policies, procedures,, and protocols to safeguard data assets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- →You will conduct risk assessments, manage security incidents, and continually evaluate and enhance command security posture.
- →You will collaborate with stakeholders across departments to promote security awareness and resilience.
- →You will stay current with emerging threats and technologies, drive innovation in security solutions, and provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on INFOSEC matters.
