About the Role

You will serve as a Administrative Support Assistant (Office Automation) with National Park Service.

What You'll Do

  • As an Administrative Support Assistant (OA), you will perform the following duties: Provides briefings on administrative topics.
  • Collects data for the unit's operating budget.
  • Provides information on travel allowances and requirements.
  • Prepares travel authorizations and vouchers using automated systems and software for travel and voucher preparation.
  • Advises on the procedures for the procurement of goods and services.
  • Reviews time and attendance reports for employees.
  • Maintains files and training certificates.
  • Responsible for the administrative oversight of various administrative processes, which may include processing financial, procurement, property, human resources, and other administrative forms or documents for the unit.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S.
  • Citizen or National.
  • Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • Direct Deposit participation required.

  • You may be required to travel overnight away from home occasionally.
  • You must obtain a government charge card for travel purposes.
