About the Position: This position is for Directorate of Mental Health located at Naval Base Point Loma, San Diego CA.
What You'll Do
- →Obtain needed background information before referring calls to supervisors or staff members.
- →Schedule appointments without prior approval for the Chief, Deputy and Clinic Chiefs based upon personal judgment and knowledge of supervisors' desires and activities.
- →Arrange meetings and staff conferences.
- →Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence for department, as well as the pickup and distribution of official mail.
- →Review outgoing correspondence for proper format, procedural and typographical accuracy, and grammar.
- →Arrange for the ordering and management of office supplies, equipment, and printing support.
- →Trains military and civilian staff members on Department Standard Operating procedures, DDEAMC regulations and policies and office procedures.
- →Operate automated equipment with features such as database, word processing, telecommunications and spreadsheets.
- →Serve as the point of contact (POC) responsible for managing and providing guidance concerning the DTS and Timekeeping Systems.
