About the Position: This position is located at the Bioenvironmental Engineering Flight within the 673rd Medical Group, Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson, Alaska. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Federal employees in Alaska are currently entitled to receive a 1.49% Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary. This is subject to change.
What You'll Do
- →Receive, track, and prioritize incoming requests via email or phone and respond as appropriate.
- →Maintain records of incoming/outgoing correspondence and ensure timely follow up by appropriate points of contact.
- →Ensure all required documentation is completed and filed according to rules, regulations, and local policies.
- →Review and distribute outgoing correspondence for accuracy, completeness and formatting.
- →Utilize various software and database systems to support reporting, office management and data entry.
- →Maintain accountability of department supplies and equipment; and process purchase orders to maintain supply.
- →Utilize the Defense Travel System (DTS) to review travel authorizations and travel vouchers.
- →Serve as the Defense Medical Human Resources System Internet (DMHRSI) Timekeeper for the department.
