About the Role
This position is located on the Northern Region, R1 or Eastern Region, R9. This position performs a wide variety of administrative tasks for Ranger District personnel. The incumbent manages tasks related to budgeting, accounting, agreements, travel, human resources, file organization, correspondence preparation, office automation systems, and property management. What You'll Do
- →Duties listed are at the full performance level, GS-07.
- →Maintains a detailed knowledge of travel policies and regulations to serve as a technical resource to unit personnel.
- →Prepares travel requests and vouchers for travel.
- →Advises on travel allowances and requirement and ensures adherence to travel regulations.
- →Uses automated systems and software for travel and voucher preparation.
- →Provides support for grants and agreements on the Ranger District.
- →Develops and implements new systems or administrative processes to meet unit needs.
Requirements
- ✓Must be a U.S.
- ✓Citizen or National.
- ✓Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service or exempt.
- ✓Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.
- ✓Per Public Law 104-134 all Federal employees are required to have federal payments made by direct deposit to their financial institution.
