The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the principal administrative assistant to the 17th Training Wing Commander; provide administrative support to the Commander for the planning and execution of the daily operations of the 17th Training Wing
What You'll Do
- →Performs a full range of administrative assistant duties.
- →Maintains Commander's calendar, coordinates meeting arrangements, and schedules meetings and/or conferences including those involving staff from outside the immediate office.
- →Independently notes and follows up on commitments made at meetings and conferences by staff members.
- →Reviews and processes incoming and outgoing correspondence, reports, and other materials submitted for the Commander's signature.
- →Performs other clerical and administrative work in support of the office/organization.
- →Serves as liaison between the supervisor and subordinate units.
- →Uses multiple office automation software with varied functions to produce a wide range of documents that often require complex formats, such as graphics or tables within text, editing and reformatting electronic drafts, and updating or revising existing databases or spreadsheets.
- →Serves in the capacity of Confidential Assistant.
