About the Position: The Military Entrance Processing Station plays a vital role in maintaining the nation's military might by ensuring that each new member of the Armed Forces: Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Space Force & Coast Guard; meets the high mental, moral & medical standards required by the DoD & the military services. Every MEPS represents state of the art in testing, examining & processing applicants for enlistment into the Armed Forces. This position is a permanent position.
What You'll Do
- →Accounts for current and incoming inventory items.
- →Tracks the status of assets utilizing automated systems.
- →Adhere to rules and guidelines while performing the duties of a Purchasing Agent.
- →Advises and assists commander and staff members on all matters pertaining to motor vehicle management and maintenance.
- →Independently evaluates the need for facility and equipment maintenance.
- →Ensures proper handling and compliance of hazardous materials.
