What You'll Do
- →The United States Attorney for the District of Utah is responsible for prosecuting all federal crimes committed within the district.
- →The Office also defends the United States, its agencies, officers, and employees in civil actions; enforces the regulatory authority of federal agencies, and recovers funds from individuals who violate criminal, civil and regulatory laws.
- →The Office is divided into four divisions: the Administrative Division, Appellate Division, Civil Division and Criminal Division.
- →If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for various support services within the Administrative Division.
- →Typical work assignments will include: Entering obligations, amendments, delivery and all actions into the official financial system.
- →Maintaining and administering a variety of budget and financial management activities Monitoring and tracking obligations and expenditures for the district.
- →Developing procurement plans by reviewing previous history and market conditions.
- →Coordinate and perform support services processes related to IT, records and inventory management.
- →Coordinating a variety of facility maintenance and/or repair activities for workspaces.
- →Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
Requirements
- ✓All academic degrees and coursework must be completed at a college or university that has obtained accreditation or pre-accreditation status from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S.
- ✓Department of Education.
- ✓For a list of schools that meet this criteria, see http://www.ed.gov OR Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the above education requirements if you can show that the foreign education is comparable to that received in an accredited educational institution in the United States.
