What You'll Do

  • The United States Attorney for the District of Utah is responsible for prosecuting all federal crimes committed within the district.
  • The Office also defends the United States, its agencies, officers, and employees in civil actions; enforces the regulatory authority of federal agencies, and recovers funds from individuals who violate criminal, civil and regulatory laws.
  • The Office is divided into four divisions: the Administrative Division, Appellate Division, Civil Division and Criminal Division.
  • If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for various support services within the Administrative Division.
  • Typical work assignments will include: Entering obligations, amendments, delivery and all actions into the official financial system.
  • Maintaining and administering a variety of budget and financial management activities Monitoring and tracking obligations and expenditures for the district.
  • Developing procurement plans by reviewing previous history and market conditions.
  • Coordinate and perform support services processes related to IT, records and inventory management.
  • Coordinating a variety of facility maintenance and/or repair activities for workspaces.
  • Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.

Requirements

  • All academic degrees and coursework must be completed at a college or university that has obtained accreditation or pre-accreditation status from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S.
  • Department of Education.
