What You'll Do
- →If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team in the Administrative Division that is responsible for overseeing and/or providing a wide variety of administrative support services to the district in most or all of the following areas: Procurement, Records Management, Budget, Facilities, and other miscellaneous support services.
- →As an Administrative Services Specialist typical work assignments will include: Responsible for administering a variety of routine USAO procurement activities.
- →Serves as the office purchasing agent using the Government Purchase Card (GPC) or other authorized method for supplies and equipment.
- →Develop procurement plans by reviewing previous history and market conditions.
- →Responsible for maintaining and administering a variety of budget and financial management activities, including the monitoring of expenditures for all open acquisition obligations.
- →Coordinates a variety of facility maintenance and/or repair activities for the USAO workspace.
- →Promotes and coordinates an effective records management program with USAO managers and employees by providing training and guidance.

Requirements
- ✓All academic degrees and coursework must be completed at a college or university that has obtained accreditation or pre-accreditation status from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S.
- ✓Department of Education.
- ✓For a list of schools that meet this criteria, see http://www.ed.gov OR Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the above education requirements if you can show that the foreign education is comparable to that received in an accredited educational institution in the United States.
