About the Role

The U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Oregon is seeking an Administrative Services Specialist position within our Administrative Division. This position is located in Portland, OR. What You'll Do

  • As an Administrative Services Specialist in the United States Attorney's Office (USAO), District of Oregon, you will perform the following duties: Make purchases within delegated monetary authority.
  • Track obligations and expenditures.
  • Analyze support services processes and procedures.
  • Provide support services in relation to space management, records, supplies and equipment, office security, internal controls, health and safety.
  • Administer a wide variety of administrative support activities, e.g., office moves, reorganizations, and communication system changes.
  • Project and analyze space needs based on proposed initiatives, staff changes, and technology improvements.
  • Coordinate USAO special events, such as, press conferences or community outreach activities.
  • Oversee building facility related projects.
  • Participate in property and equipment inventories.
  • Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.

Requirements

  • All academic degrees and coursework must be completed at a college or university that has obtained accreditation or pre-accreditation status from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S.
  • Department of Education.
