About the Position: Incumbent is responsible for administrative operations with the Command Group of U.S. Army Transportation Command (ARTRANS), to include logistical, personnel management, document control, automation and integration activities in support of the Command Group, Head Quarters Staff, and Brigades.
What You'll Do
- →Provide advice, assistance, and coordination of a wide range of administrative services.
- →Review and process correspondence incoming to the Command Group for content, proper coordination, correctness, prior to approval, and/or signature from Command Group leadership.
- →Maintain/Update the Command Group Portal page.
- →Work with Army Transportation Command (ARTRANS) Staff and visiting offices to build itinerary and details for the trips for the Deputy to the Commander (DTC).
- →Draft briefing slides, talking points, and necessary documents for Deputy to the Commander's (DTC's) engagement during trips.
- →Resolve a variety of problems related to staff actions.
- →Evaluate the effectiveness of administrative policies, procedures and regulations and seeks ways to improve operations.
- →Use various functions of several types of office automation systems utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite.
- →Conduct fact-finding, data gathering, analysis of data, and recommends action to the Command which is supported by research and documentation.
- →Serve as the Defense Travel System-Organizational Defense Travel Administrator (DTS-ODTA) for the Command Group to assist with overall DTS administration.
- →Receive, review and analyze all suspenses/taskers and determines disposition.
