About the Role
The Administrative Officer (AO) for Quality Patient Safety (QPS) Service functions at the facility, service and program level with work products forming contributions to the VISN, and VACO programs. This position requires high level critical thinking, independent decision making, administrative, organizational, fiscal, and interpersonal skills.
What You'll Do
- →Major Duties may include but not limited to: Plans and maintains a system of internal controls which assures that the fiscal management of the Service is maintained in accordance with accepted accounting practices.
- →Serves as the lead in administrating actions concerning promotion and position management.
- →Participates in personnel administration operations such as position classification and performance standards.
- →Plays a central role in developing and coordinating internal review systems to assure that both clinical and administrative activities follow agency, accrediting and regulatory requirements.
- →Responsible for constant surveillance, evaluation, planning, and management to ensure efficient utilization of space and equipment based on changing and ever-increasing program demands.
- →Work Schedule: 0730-1600 Telework: This position may be authorized for telework.
