About the Role
The position is located at a Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) medical facility. The purpose of the position is to perform administrative functions that include administration, human resources management, budget and finance, management analysis, office support services, document control, logistics, and a variety of related administrative matters in support of a small medical facility
What You'll Do
- →Major Duties include, but are not limited to: Advises management officials, supervisors, and employees on the interpretation and application of a variety of human resources policies, practices, and procedures.
- →Provides administrative planning and oversight for a variety of special and continuing programs.
- →Conducts limited studies and evaluations to improve administrative processes.
- →Ensures that the overall supply needs, services for the medical facility are met in a timely manner.
- →Oversees a variety of administrative programs, including the distribution and dissemination of incoming mail, internal control, records management, publication and forms management, and timesheets.
- →Directs administrative support services to ensure that inquiries, correspondence, and actions for the area are addressed.
- →Performs budget execution functions to ensure that expenditures are consistent with budget formulation.
- →Implements administrative policies and procedures for facility-wide areas of responsibility..
- →Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met.
- →Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.
- →Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm.
- →Subject to changed based on Agency Needs.
- →Telework: This position may be authorized for telework(AD-HOC). .
