About the Role
Western District of Washington in Seattle, WA. The selectee of this position serves as a Administrative Officer. You will be responsible for for planning, implementing and directing District administrative programs in support of the mission of the United States Marshals Service.
What You'll Do
- →As an Administrative Officer at the GS-0341-13 level, some of your typical work assignments may include: Supervising the District administrative staff.
- →Overseeing and coordinating all administrative support for the main District office and District sub-offices.
- →Planning the work to be accomplished by subordinates; establishing priorities, assigning work, evaluating work performance, and providing advise, guidance, and counsel to subordinates.
- →Interviewing candidates for administrative positions and making selections.
- →Developing short and long range plans for District administrative operations.
- →Ensuring the administrative and financial management activities are performed accurately and timely in accordance with established regulations and policies.
- →Forecasts district financial needs to ensure district funds are obligated and spent in an appropriate manner, staying within allocated funds while dealing with changes in programs, staffing levels, and/or unanticipated events tied to mission workload.
- →Develop and implement effective and regular communication with staff as well as agency divisions: Human Resources, Information Technology, the Procurement Office, Financial Service, and the Management Support Division.

Requirements
- ✓Must complete an initial online questionnaire and additional assessment(s).
