About the Role
You will serve as a Administrative Officer for CRAB ORCHARD SUPERFUND PROJECT an integral member of the management team, providing a wide range of administrative services, advice, and counsel for a complex organization within the Fish and Wildlife Service. Open to the first 50 applicants or until 09/29/2026 whichever comes first. All applications submitted by 11:59 (EST) on the closing day will receive consideration.
What You'll Do
- →Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Performs analysis required to formulate the budget assuring that all rules, regulations, policies, and procedures for budget submissions are followed.
- →Analyzes funding needs and actual or potential problem areas, trends, deficiencies, areas of imbalance.
- →Establishes local field station account structures, continuous review/monitoring of funds, reconciliation, and shifting and/or adjusting funds.
- →Performs or directs the acquisition of necessary supplies, equipment, and labor to meet station needs.
- →Studies current and new administrative procedures and requirements in order to determine their effect on station operations and to identify areas where improvements are needed.
- →Serves as the primary Office Coordinator on space requests, building maintenance; telephone services; property utilization, survey and disposal; files, mail, and records; travel; receptionist services; Freedom Of Information Act tracking; payroll; and similar administrative programs.
Requirements
- ✓Must be a U.S.
- ✓Citizen or National.
- ✓Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication.
- ✓Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.

- ✓You may be required to travel overnight away from home up to 2 nights per month.
- ✓You must obtain a government charge card for travel purposes.
- ✓You are required to complete training, obtain and maintain a government credit card with travel and purchase authority.
