About the Role
You will serve as an Administrative Officer for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 3, Marquette Biological Station. You will provide a wide range of administrative, financial, human resources, procurement, and property management services that support a complex program with multiple funding sources, diverse staffing needs, and extensive partnerships.
What You'll Do
- →Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Lead management analysis to improve how the office uses people, space, equipment, and systems, and recommend solutions that increase efficiency.
- →Manage human resources actions and advise supervisors on staffing, structure, performance, benefits, and workforce planning.
- →Oversee full budget planning and execution, monitor spending, analyze financial trends, and use systems such as the Financial and Business Management System (FBMS).
- →Direct procurement and property management, including purchasing, market research, justifications, inventory, and disposal in line with federal rules.
- →Coordinate travel, payroll, agreements, and administrative processes while representing the office in meetings and ensuring compliance with policies.

- ✓Unofficial transcripts are acceptable, but if you are selected for this position and you used your education to qualify, you must provide official transcripts before you begin work.
- ✓Foreign Education: To receive credit for education completed outside the United States, you must show proof that the education has been submitted to a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign educational credentials and such education has been deemed at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education programs.
