About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. What You'll Do
- →Serves as the Administrative Officer for the 500th Military Intelligence Brigade, Office of the S1.
- →Acts as the primary technical advisor to the Brigade Commander, Deputy Commander, subordinate commanders and staff on all issues involving civilian human resources management.
- →Reviews administrative and operational actions prepared to ascertain capability with DoD, Army and the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM).
- →Manages the Department of the Army (DAC) civilians IAW established policies and procedures under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Management System (DCIPS).
- →Establishes organizational-specific methods and strategies designed to capture and manage fluctuation of assignments as dictated by mission needs and requirements.
- →Manages the INSCOM Civilian Employee Drug Testing Program for the 500th Military Intelligence Brigade-Theater (MIB-T).
- →Conducts mandatory training for supervisors and managers and the 500th MIB-T civilian population.
- →Manages/works from multiple TDAs to include the realignment of positions in order to track, report and manage assigned strength.
- →Manages the Civilian Employees Incentive Awards Program for the 500th MIB-T.
- →Reviews, updates automated records and reports to reflect command personnel, distribution, status of outstanding personnel actions and staffing trends to support key management personnel in decision making.
- →Recommends actions of ensure consistency with INSCOM, DA, and DoD strategies and objectives.
