About the Role
About the Position: This position is part of the Reemployed Annuitants Cadre, in support of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). On an as-needed basis, employees occupying these positions provide emergency support to disaster-stricken areas throughout the United States. This is a temporary appointment not to exceed 1-year. At management's discretion, the appointment may be extended for up to a maximum of 3-years or converted to a term appointment for up to a maximum of 6-years.
What You'll Do
- →Plans, directs, and coordinates administrative operations to ensure effective support of organizational and emergency response missions.
- →Monitors and oversees programs involving personnel, property accountability, records management, facilities, logistics, and operational support activities.
- →Develops reports, briefings, and recommendations for leadership to support decision-making during routine operations and disaster response efforts.
- →Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, including Federal agencies and contractors, to support mission execution, resource allocation, and emergency operations.
- →Responds to disaster or contingency operations by establishing priorities, resolving administrative issues, and supporting time-sensitive missions in austere environments.
